<h3 data-end="250" data-start="191">Course Objective – LYP 104: Mastery Continues </h3>
The objective of LYP 104 is to extend the student’s developing mastery by moving beyond foundational technique and into controlled, intentional musicianship. This level aims to sharpen tone production, strengthen expressive command, and deepen the student’s ability to shape phrasing, articulation, and musical form with clarity. The goal is to ensure that the technical skills gained so far evolve into mature, thoughtful playing, so the student’s path of mastery continues with purpose and confidence.

By the end of LYP 104, the student will be able to:

This is a 12-week course where the student gets one weekly lesson for 12 weeks.

 LYP 104 is designed for students who have built a solid technical foundation and are now ready to shape their musical voice. This level shifts the focus from simply “playing correctly” to playing with intention, nuance, and artistic clarity. Students learn to control tone, colour, articulation, and phrasing with greater refinement, while strengthening rhythmic consistency and expressive confidence. The course also deepens the student’s understanding of harmony, musical form, and interpretive choices, allowing them to move beyond surface-level performance and towards musically thoughtful, stylistically aware playing. By the end of LYP 104, the student begins to sound like a musician who not only understands the instrument but also understands how to say something through it.
