That's why our Indian culture has a repertoire of songs that parents and grandparents use to introduce a baby to their mother tongue. It is an important part of growing up - every child grows up hearing songs from family members when they are made to sleep. It is a special bonding time between parents and child and sometimes other members of the family and the child. The Shankar Mahadevan Academy wants to bring this simple but important joy in every parent-child's life.</p>
