The Raga deep dive courses are aimed at internalising Raga concepts. In this Raga Deepdive course Raga Bhupal Todi is explored. This is a rare prakar of Todi. Perfect Sur in the notes of this Raga can be achieved by complete focus and Swar Sadhana like any Todi Prakar. As the name suggests this is an audav or a pentatonic Raga. Todi is an Aalap oriented Raga. Paltas and a variety of Taan patterns are practised to perfection in Drut Laya, along with the Swar Vistar by paying attention to the characteistic feature of Bhupali Todi. The Bada Khayal, Chhota Khayal and a Tarana are studied in this course.
